Data Deletion Instructions
You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you at any time, for any reason, and you do not have to explain why. Deletion is free.
1. How to ask
Send an email toceo@passion-education.comwith the subject “Data deletion request”, from the email address you gave us, and include:
- your full name;
- the email address and phone number you registered with;
- your registration number if you have one (it looks like
PE-YVN-26-XXXXXXand is in your confirmation email); - if you reached us through a Facebook or Instagram advertisement, say so — it helps us find the lead record.
If you cannot write from the address you registered with, write from any address and we will verify your identity another way before deleting anything. We never delete a record on the say-so of a third party who cannot be verified, because that would itself be a data breach.
2. What happens next
- We acknowledge the request within 5 business days.
- We complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm it to you in writing.
- Deletion covers every system in which we hold your data: your contact record and its history, our internal operations records, any mailing-list subscription and its consent record, any correspondence held with you, and any lead record received from an advertising platform.
- Backup copies are cycled out in the ordinary course, and we do not use them to reinstate a record that has been deleted on request.
3. Data that came from Meta
Where you submitted a Meta lead form (an “instant form” on Facebook or Instagram), the name, email address, phone number and answers you gave in that form reach us through Meta and are added to our contact records. A deletion request removes that record in full, together with the advertising identifiers attached to it.
We also report registrations to Meta through the Conversions API as hashed contact details, so that our advertising can be measured. We cannot delete data held inside Meta’s own systems on your behalf — for that, use the controls in your Facebook or Instagram account settings, or contact Meta directly. After a deletion request we stop sending any further event about you.
4. Data that came from Google
Submissions are recorded in a private spreadsheet inside our own Google Workspace account, used as an internal operations record. A deletion request removes your entry from it. Visitors never sign in with Google on this site, and we never hold a visitor’s Google account data — see the Limited Use disclosure in our Privacy Policy.
5. Deleting less than everything
- Marketing only. To stop marketing email but keep your event registration, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or ask us. That is instant and needs no request.
- Withdrawing sharing with institutions. Write to us and we stop passing your details on. Institutions that already received your registration under the consent you gave are separate controllers: we will tell you which ones they are so you can ask them directly, and we forward your request to them where we can.
- Correction instead of deletion. Ask, and we correct the record rather than removing it.
6. What we may keep, and why
Where the law requires it, we keep the minimum needed and nothing more: a record that a deletion request was made and honoured, and any accounting or tax document that mentions you. Nothing in that residue is used for marketing, for sharing with an institution, or for any advertising platform.
7. If you are not satisfied
Write to ceo@passion-education.comand we will look at it again. You may also complain to your national data protection authority — in the EEA your local supervisory authority, in the UAE the UAE Data Office.
