Frequent questions about levels
I finished school in Russia — can I enter a bachelor's directly?
It depends on the country. The UAE, Malaysia and many US and European institutions accept a Russian school certificate directly. The UK usually requires a Foundation year or A-levels, unless you have completed one year at a Russian university.
What if my IELTS is not high enough?
Many universities offer a pre-sessional English course or accept an internal test. In some cases a conditional offer is issued and the language requirement is met later.
Can I transfer from a Russian university?
Often yes, with credit transfer for part of the courses. The result depends on the programme match and the number of completed semesters.
